Description
A great hike for a Late Summer day.
• Meet up at 8.00 at Valleyview Arena and drive to the trailhead. Arrange carpooling if desired before or at meet up
• We should be on the trail by 9.00
• Moderate trail over approximately 15km.
• Estimated time on the trail is 5 hours.
• Lunch will be on the trail at turnaround point
• Bring all your essentials, water and lunch as well as bug and bear spray
• Dress for the conditions.
• Don’t forget your camera.

I have been retired for several years now but hiking has been a favorite past time over the years. I used to backpack a lot... many years ago.....and undertake some really challenging hikes but now my preference is just for a good day out!
We've been in Kamloops for about 11 years (2nd time around) so hiking/snowshoeing is still relatively new for me here. I've hiked a lot in the Lower Mainland/Whistler area and now we enjoy the freedom of retirement to be able to walk/hike in the UK, Europe and elsewhere in the world.
I enjoy hiking on single or double track paths with small groups and generally keep up a moderate to steady pace.
