Come join us on Oct 21/17 for a hike to Adam Lake river trail. Starting at the Raft Pull out, we will hike along the Wade Road trail to two rocky bluffs looking down on the Adam’s river below and continue on until we reach the 7 km marker through a forested area. We will stop at the first rocky bluff for a break and picture taking then continue on to the second higher up bluff for lunch. The view is amazing. This is considered an easy hike with two short climbs to summit the  bluffs mentioned above. Fall colors will be on display for all to enjoy. Keep your eyes open for a “smiley” rock in one of the trees along the way.

Participants from Kamloops are to meet at 0920 sharp at the designated meet up spot and leave at 0930am sharp- carpooling to be arranged among Kamloops participants. Hike leaders will meet you at the trailhead at 10:15. Remember to pay your driver a suggested fee of $5.00 if carpooling after the hike.

Bring your lunch, essentials, plenty of water and of course your smile and camera. There will be plenty of opportunities for picture taking.

Extensive hiking in the Rockies and Utah. Have also hiked the Tour de Mt Blanc circuit in Europe and Everest Base Camp in Nepal. Recently retired , I am looking forward to explore and discover new trailsclose to home and abroad and tocontinue to lead hikes/snowshoes events. Most of the hikes I lead can range from easy, moderate to harder. I feel grateful in being able to share my favorite hikes with club members and to spread my love of nature with others.
