Description
Join us fo
r a hike on the Adams River trails then a visit to the salmon spawning areas of Tsutswecw (Roderick Haig) Park. Meet up at the Valleyview Arena at 9:00, Sunday, October 30th, arrange your own carpooling and caravan to the Adams River trail parking lot. We should be on the trail about 10:00am, we will hike upstream past the beach, carrying on to the second bluff for the views before returning back towards the parking lot. We will continue under the bridge and hike the trails viewing salmon as we go.
Dress for the conditions, bring your camera, lunch to be had somewhere along the trail.

I have been hiking in the Kamloops area for a number of years enjoying the alpine in the summer months. Joined the KHC in 2011 and have been leading hikes and snowshoe events ranging from moderate to difficult for over two years. Look forward to sharing the trail with others in the club.
