Description
We will meet at the Hillside meet up spot at 1000 and drive just a few minutes west to the Abbey Road turnoff. There are many trails in this area and we will do a loop down and around some pretty hills with great views over Kamloops Lake and the Dewdrop range. There may still be a few cattle roaming around but we will generally follow some double tracks down around a small lake and then back up again back to our vehicles. The loop will take us 3-4 hours with a lunch break.
Lunch will be at a viewpoint along the way. This is a very pretty area hiking through some double tracks and ranch fields. Any vehicle can make it to trailhead but we can carpool from Hillside if necessary.

I have been retired for several years now and enjoy many activities in the outdoors such as hiking, cycling, skiing, backpacking. I have lived in Canada for the last 35 years and spent a great deal of time exploring the Rockies, K-country, Kootenays and parts of BC.
I get out on a hike, ski or cycle ride several times a week either with the club or family and enjoy running multi day trips as well as day outings.I will lead fairly strenuous, moderate to steady paced outings as well as some starter outings.
