Description
Kamloops Hiking Club hosts its AGM and Social in the spring each year. This year we are heading outdoors for our AGM, and will include a hike and a hot dog social!
- Come join us for our very popular annual AGM event at the Paul Lake Group Campsite. (This is not at the main campground – the Group Site is on the far west end of the lake, across the street from the Paul Lake Condos. You can search Paul Lake Group Campsite on Google Maps if you would like to see a map view.)
- A welcome to new members and a chance to mingle with other hikers
- Annual elections for the 2022-2023 Board of Directors.
- Great time to socialize during a hike before and picnic after our meeting
- The best AGM get-together in the country by far!
- Hike to the top of Gibraltar Rock and back (6km total) from 9 to 11:00 am
- AGM begins at 11:30 am
- Hot Dog Roast at 11:45 am
- Presentations begin at 12:30 pm: Tick Awareness & Safety by Marnie Freeman, and WildSafe BC – Bear Spray Demonstration by Vanessa Isnardy
- Multiple Door Prize & 50/50 draws follow immediately after presentations
- Prizes will be part of the social (donations gratefully accepted!)
- An overview of club events for 2022 will be provided
- Directors and hike leaders will be in attendance to make any announcements or to answer any questions
