Description
Kamloops Hiking Club hosts its AGM and Social/Potluck Dinner in the spring each year
- Come join us for this very popular annual event at the Barnhartvale Hall.
- Annual elections for the 2017-2018 Board of Directors.
- Great time to socialize during a potluck meal before our meeting
- The best potluck meal in the country by far!
- Dinner and social from 5 pm to 6:30 pm
- Meeting from 6:30 pm to 7:15Â
- Prize draws follow after the meeting.
- Slideshow will be ongoing off to the side
- Prizes will be part of the social (donations gratefully accepted)
- An overview of club events for 2018 will be provided
- Guests are welcome (no waiver required); guests should contribute to the potluck dinner
- Minors are welcome but parents/guardians are asked to supervise them while at the get-together
Potluck
- Please indicate what you are bringing in the comment section below. Suggestions: main course (vegetarian or meat), salad, veggies, rice or potato dish, dessert, buns or a beverage
- Coffee and tea will be supplied.
- No alcoholic beverages allowed to be brought on site
- We have use of a full kitchen for anything that may require re-heating.
- Crockpots work well too.
- Please consider volunteering for set-up and clean up.
- Please bring your own plate, bowl, cup and cutlery. Also, please remember a serving spoon for your potluck dish. Â Thank you.

- Motion from the Board of Directors – That the year-end for membership be moved to March 1st. For the 2018-2019 membership year, 2018 memberships will extend to Feb. 28, 2019.

Notes:
- Nominations for Directors positions are open now; please use the Contact Form to advise us of potential nominations
- A few Directors will be continuing into 2018 – 2019 and some key positions have nominees at this time, but a number of positions are still open
- The responsibilities for Hike Leaders Coordination, webmaster, liaisons (FMCBC, Sports Council, media, Trails alliance), equipment coordination, special events, merchandise, Registration, etc. will be the responsibilities of Directors and Committees, determined by the 2018-2019 Board
- In the event of two nominees for a key position a vote of members in good standing will be held

- Please comment to the event what you are planning to bring so that other members can see what is already planned.
