Jan. 26 – Bush Lake.   Roads were good, parking is fine, but may fill up later in the day.   The Bush Lake side was very good with the north loop stomped in and some central trails also ready.   Bush Lake South Trails have seen little use.   Recommended, but if it warms up a lot, may not be quite as good.  DAS

Jan 28 – We did a snowshoe from Dogwood Marshes to McConnell Lake cabin on Sunday. We started with cleats but the snow was too soft so we wore our snowshoes. Overall it was pretty good.
Jan 29 – Hike at Kenna had a few icy sections & mud.
Jan 30 – Hike on the Rivers Trail West was great … no mud or ice just a bit of wind.
Jan. 29 – The road into Cooney Bay requires high clearance. The start of the trail has slush, ice, and mud. There are some muddy spots but the bay is dry. Crossing the river is a bit trickier because of the excavations. The trail up the bluff is a bit slippery, but overall its nice out at Cooney Bay.
Feb. 2- The Mara Extended Loop was fine for hiking, except for a short muddy section on the Pruden Pass Road.
