Optimal Group Size
These are double track trails with signs/maps at every junction. Any manageable sized group is possible
Season
4 seasons (snowshoe trails in winter)
Seasonal Notes
Avoid late winter/early spring – ice, mud, and puddles
Best hiking is May through November.
No hiking once the cross country season starts (they track set the trails)
Length
2 km – 50km and everything in between; just pick a loop.
Difficulty
Most trails are moderate. The outside loop is more difficult. Most of Bushwhacker is more difficult.
Climb
Most trails are moderate. Bushwhacker has some elevation gain.
Duration
Anywhere from 1 hour to 4 hours.
Fitness Requirements
The shorter routes are suitable for all hikers. The longer routes are more demanding. Bushwhacker has some rougher terrain.
Dogs
A good area for dogs.

- Print a map to carry with you.
- All junctions are signed and many have maps posted.
- The trails can be quite muddy in spring.
General Notes
Mosquito season is June and at least half of July.
A fee is charged to snowshoe the trails in winter.
