• a variety of trails and routes are hike-able on the benchland and in the hills
• some private lands too so honor signage and fences
• there is now fencing and signage blocking access to routes west; some single track trails go around the gravel pit operation but they make a long detour
• shorter routes and loops can be done in the hills or on the benchlands
