Description
Come join Margo and Doug for a great hike on the Sabiston Trail in Savona.
This trail follows the Kamloops lake above the train track for beautiful scenery along the way.
This will be a 9-10 km hike return.
As always there will be some ups and downs along the way.
We will have lunch on the beach.
Participants are to meet for carpooling at the Hillside meet up spot at 9:30. Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes early to arrange carpooling.
We will drive to the trailhead from there. Trailhead is situated on Cemetery Rd in Savona.
Please bring your 10 essentials, a lunch, a camera and most of all, your “Joie de vivre”!

I have been a member of the hiking club since 2016. I have a passion for the outdoors.I love hiking, backpacking, trail running, kayaking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Reaching the top of a mountain is an impressive physical, mental, and emotional accomplishment.My hiking preference is moderate to strenuous.I enjoy the challenge of longer and steeper slopes.I also appreciate a leisure walk and easy hiking in nature with minimal elevation gain and few obstacles.Make sure to read the description of my event postings to find out the degree of difficulties.
