DESCRIPTION:A hike on trail\, crossing some fences\, visiting past old home
 steads\, along sidehills\, using some old tracks\, and some off-trail trav
 ersing\, all in a scenic\, but rugged loop.\n\n	Route  - Pruden Pass &gt\
 ;Wheeler slopes &gt\; Harris Homestead &gt\; Pruden Pass viewpoint (lunch 
 stop) &gt\; three-way junction &gt\; Massey Lake &gt\; sidehill traverse a
 long the old wooden fenceline &gt\; Sohrenson Homestead &gt\; Damgaard Hom
 estead &gt\; Mara north ridge down (William Fortune's Quarter section) &gt
 \; start\n	we may encounter snow\, ice\, mud\, dry conditions\, ticks\, et
 c. so prepare for all\n	the Harris Homestead is the best of the remaining 
 100+ year old homesteads of the Lac du Bois area\n	thanks to Nic Verbrugge
 n for some of the research on the homesteads\n	if you want to learn how to
  record a track and waypoints (they are needed to find the homesteads) wit
 h your gps\, bring it with you\n	this route is hilly which will challenge
