This hike involves quite alot of climbing. We will meet at the main entrance to Peterson Creek Park and from there ascend the east side of the gorge, stopping by the viewpoint at the waterfall, then continuing on to the top of Microwave hill.

Near the top of the hill we will visit a little known historical artifact.

After a break for water and oxygen, we’ll cross over a little canyon to the east and make a long lazy loop on the some of the many trails the area has to offer.

Should be about 11 km distance and at least 400m of vertical.

Meetup will be at the main entrance to Peterson Creek park at 1440 Glenfair Dr.

Bring a lunch and plenty of water.
