SUMMARY:McGillivray Lake Snowshoe Sun Peaks - Slower Pace
DESCRIPTION:We will snowshoe the McGillivray Lake Cabin Trail up to the ca
 bin and McGillivary Lake. This trail is 3 kms one way and climbs about 75
 0 m (1500 feet) with some steeper sections.\n\nWe will lunch\, rest and wa
 rm up in the cabin before returning via the McGillivary Lake Cabin Return
  trail. This trail will take us past Little McGillivary Lake and across th
 e dog sled trails.\nThe entire trip is about 8 to 10 km and is considered 
 an Advanced Trail according to Sunpeaks Adventures.  However\, we will be
  going at an easy pace with lots of rest breaks.  Everyone is expected to
  stay together.\n\nWhen crossing/sharing the cross country ski trails\, pl
 ease be mindful to stay to the side and off the ski tracks.\n\nMeet at the
  Paul Lake Husky Meetup for 8:45 am to carpool\, leaving by 9:00 am. We s
 hould be on the trail by 10 am. Approx $5 to $8 for carpooling depending 
 on the vehicle and number of passengers.\n\nPlease bring water\, lunch and
  dress for the weather.\n\nSorry\, no dogs on this one.\n\nSnowshoe ticket
 s are $5 and can be purchased at the Day Lodge.
