SUMMARY:McGillivray Lake Snowshoe Sun Peaks
DESCRIPTION:We will snowshoe the McGillivray Lake Cabin Trail up to the cab
 in and McGillivary Lake. This trail is 3 kms one way and climbs about 750 
 m (1500 feet) with steep sections. We will lunch\, rest and warm up in the
  cabin before returning via the McGillivary Lake Cabin Return trail. This 
 trail will take us past Little McGillivary Lake and across the dog sled tr
 ails.\nWhen crossing/sharing the cross country ski trails\, please be mind
 ful to stay to the side and off the ski tracks.\n\nThe entire trip is abou
 t 8 to 10 km and is considered an Moderate Trail.\n\nMeet at the Paul Lake
  Husky Meetup 10:00 am. Car pooling can be arranged. We should be on the t
 rail by 11 am.\n\nPlease bring water\, lunch and dress for the weather.\n\
 nSnowshoe tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Day Lodge.
