Description
Come and join us on this very nice hike through the grassland. If weather permits, we will explore further to the Guardsmen in the Tranquille River Canyon. The route to Guardsmen would be a mixture of double tracks and trails with a bit of scrambling. The Guardsmen are a number of large hoodoos standing over the river. It is a beautiful spot.
We will meet at the dog park on Tranquille Rd at 9:45am to be on the trail by 10:15. Carpooling is up to the individual.
I have been a member of the hiking club since 2016. I have a passion for the outdoors.I love hiking, backpacking, trail running, kayaking, skiing, and snowshoeing. Reaching the top of a mountain is an impressive physical, mental, and emotional accomplishment.My hiking preference is moderate to strenuous.I enjoy the challenge of longer and steeper slopes.I also appreciate a leisure walk and easy hiking in nature with minimal elevation gain and few obstacles.Make sure to read the description of my event postings to find out the degree of difficulties.
