SUMMARY:Lower Southwest Mara Mountain
DESCRIPTION:\nJoin on a hike on the lower southwest hills around Mara Mount
 ain.\n\nWe will meet at the Mara Canyon trailhead. Drive west past the Kam
 loops Golf Club\, take your first right on the short section of Ord Rd\, c
 ross the tracks and turn left (past a house or 2 and a bunch of scrap\,veh
 icles\, etc) to the parking area.\n\nWe will be hiking off trail for most 
 of the route\, ticks are out\, there will be some scrambling involved\, we
  will stop at a viewpoint for a short lunch break. We should be on the tra
 il for 2.5 - 3 hours.\n\nBring your essentials\, hiking poles\, camera\, l
 unch\, dress for the conditions.\n\nThe weather looks good at this time\, 
 if it rains too much the hike may change to a different location.
