DESCRIPTION:A hike off trail into the Frederick Bluffs in the Dewdrop Range
 \n\n 	access by the Frederick Road so road conditions may limit which type
 s of vehicles we can use\n 	numbers may be limited by the vehicles availab
 le\n 	article - Frederick Bluffs\n 	bring traction devices if conditions a
 re snowy\n 	a lot of up and down\, all off-trail\n 	strong ankles needed\;
  poles recommended\n 	the route will be a bit demanding\n 	lunch along the
  way at a viewpoint (Bighorn Bluff)\n 	dress for the conditions\n 	dogs ok
 ay but owners will have to drive (lots of cactus too)\n 	the final route c
 hosen will depend on the conditions\n\nThe Friday Program:\n\n 	most Frida
 ys there will be a lower elevation hike (not a snowshoe) right through win
 ter into the spring (and possibly beyond)\n 	the concept is still in the d
 evelopment stage and we will refine it over the winter\n 	most hikes will 
 be 1.5 to 3 hours\n 	Hike leaders include Gerry Hoye\, Doug Smith\, Dianne
  Smith\, and possibly one more person\n 	hiking in the snow can be a chall
 enge\, but if hikers use good boots\, gaiters\, appropriate clothing\, and
  carry traction devices\, winter hiking can be very rewarding\n\n&nbsp\;\n
