Description
* Due to an event “Polarthon” a winter triathlon using some of the snowshoe trails at Stake Lake, we will relocate our snowshoe starting from Lac le Jeune to Ross Moore Lake.
* Meet at the Aberdeen Mall meet up spot to arrange car-pooling and leave at 9:30.
* $5.00 carpool fee or discretion of the driver based on how many per vehicle.
* About 4 hours of snowshoeing over moderate/difficult terrain, stopping for lunch along the way.
* We should be on the trail at 10:00.
* We will have lunch at the cabin on Ross Moore Lake.
* Dress for the conditions, layers work the best.
* Bring your smile, lunch and your camera.
I have been hiking in the Kamloops area for a number of years enjoying the alpine in the summer months. Joined the KHC in 2011 and have been leading hikes and snowshoe events ranging from moderate to difficult for over two years. Look forward to sharing the trail with others in the club.
