SUMMARY:Blind Bay Bluffs - Balmoral Trailhead
DESCRIPTION:Come join us on May 23\,2015 for a 13 k hike from the Balmoral 
 trailhead to Blind Bay Bluffs. This hike has some steep climbs and steep s
 ections. You will hike through forested areas and along the bluffs to reac
 h several scenic viewpoints along the way including views over the entire 
 South Shuawap. This hike should take about 5 hours to complete\, allow an 
 extra hour for breaks along the way and a much needed lunch break with ple
 nty of opportunities for picture taking. This is an all day hike and you m
 ust be able to stay for the duration of the hike.\n\n- Bring a hearty snac
 k and lunch\, plenty of water\, mosquito repellent\, your camera and your 
 smile.\n\n-Be prepared to stay with the group at all time as it is a wilde
 rness trail so bears could be watching us. But no worries\, with chatter\,
  we will not encounter any bears.\n-you must be physically fit to attend t
 his event and be able to stay with the group.\n\n-Participants will meet a
 t Market fresh food parking lot at 09:45am sharp and leave shortly after o
 nce carpooling has been arranged\, at 10:00 am.\n\n-Participants will meet
  the Chase group at the Chase Petro Can at around 10:40 am and caravan fro
 m there to the trailhead located just past Sorrento\, turning left unto Ba
 lmoral Rd for about 1.5 k to the large parking area on the right. The whol
 e group should arrive at the trailhead at around 11:00am.\n\n-Remember to 
 provide the driver with $10.00 for fuel if you are carpooling.\n\n-Registr
 ation for this event will be enable closer to the date of the event.\n\n
