Description
Meet up at 10.00AM at Brocklehurst Dog Park (Aviation Way )
o We should be on the trail by 10:30.
o Moderate trail over approximately 6km round trip.
o Estimated time on the trail is 3 hours.
o Lunch will be at the view point over looking Kamloops Lake.
o Bring all your essentials, water and lunch.
o Dress for the conditions.
o Don’t forget your camera.
I have been retired for several years now but hiking has been a favorite past time over the years. I used to backpack a lot… many years ago…..and undertake some really challenging hikes but now my preference is just for a good day out!
We’ve been in Kamloops for about 11 years (2nd time around) so hiking/snowshoeing is still relatively new for me here. I’ve hiked a lot in the Lower Mainland/Whistler area and now we enjoy the freedom of retirement to be able to walk/hike in the UK, Europe and elsewhere in the world.
I enjoy hiking on single or double track paths with small groups and generally keep up a moderate to steady pace.
